Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a MA RN license and Epic EMR proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
- Requires working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- Care for critically ill adult patients
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Care for patients with complex, acute, and life-threatening conditions
- No holiday time off will be approved during this assignment
- Must pass Tele/ECG and medication competency tests if assigned to Milton or Plymouth campuses
- Assignment does not consider first-time travelers
- Candidates must disclose requested time off during submission
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a similar setting required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Must observe a minimum 6-month break if previously employed at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
