Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Front of House Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the final touchpoint for our guests, ensuring they leave with a fantastic impression of our restaurant. You will play a critical role in our daily operations by operating the Toast POS system, finalizing transactions, making sure orders are accurate before they walk out the door, efficiently dispatching orders to delivery drivers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining area.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Farewells & Service: Serve as the last point of contact for guests and takeout customers. Hand off orders with a friendly demeanor, sincerely thank them for their visit, and ensure their final impression is positive and memorable.

POS & Order Management: Expertly navigate and operate the Toast POS system to process takeout, delivery, and dine-in finalizations efficiently.

Cash Handling: Accurately process payments, count money, provide correct change, and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of your shift.

Delivery Dispatching: Coordinate and dispatch outgoing delivery orders. Ensure that delivery drivers receive the correct packages in a timely manner and communicate effectively to keep the delivery flow organized and moving fast.

Front of House Maintenance: Keep the front of the house sparkling clean. This includes wiping down tables, sweeping, organizing the counter space, restocking supplies, and ensuring the dining area is always presentable for guests.

Communication: Maintain clear, positive, and effective communication with customers, kitchen staff, and delivery drivers to ensure smooth operations and accurate order handoffs.
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: Prior experience using the Toast POS system is strongly preferred.

Financial Accuracy: Confident and accurate in counting money and handling cash transactions.

Organization: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to balance interacting with in-store customers while dispatching delivery drivers.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a naturally friendly, outgoing personality to leave a lasting good impression.

Team Player: Willingness to jump in and help out wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light cleaning duties.
