Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting students ages 6 to 14 through school-based occupational therapy delivered via teletherapy and in-person sessions. This contract-to-hire position offers meaningful, part-time hours—just 4 to 5 hours per week—working with a manageable caseload of approximately 10 students. You’ll play a crucial role in helping young learners reach their fullest potential, collaborating closely with educators and families in a welcoming, inclusive school environment near Derry, NH.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as an OT
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity and enthusiasm for providing teletherapy services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school teams effectively
- Dedication to fostering positive, supportive educational experiences for children with diverse learning needs
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students ages 6-14 as part of their individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to ensure therapy goals are integrated across school activities
- Utilize digital tools and resources for teletherapy, ensuring therapy is engaging and effective in both virtual and onsite settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
