Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll work with a caseload of 10-16 students, focusing on their academic, social, and behavioral growth. Your expertise in special education will be valued as you address diverse student needs through individualized instruction and comprehensive case management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Teaching License required
- Previous experience with mental health, behavioral intervention, or self-contained special education classrooms strongly preferred
- Skilled in case management, including evaluations, report writing, and participation in IEP meetings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and affirming classroom environment
Role Highlights:
- Guide a small group of students in a self-contained classroom focused on mental health and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Oversee ongoing assessment, documentation, and evaluation of student progress
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with staff, administrators, and families as needed
- Provide instructional and emotional support, using proven strategies and resources
- School hours are from 7:30 AM to 2:20 PM, with a weekly schedule of 32.5-35 hours
