We're partnering with a school district in Essex County, Massachusetts to hire a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026–2027 school year.

In this role, you will provide behavioral support and consultation services to elementary and middle school students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective behavior strategies that promote student success across academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Essex County, MA
  • \n

  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • \n

  • Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week
  • \n

  • School Year: 2026–2027
  • \n

  • Grade Levels: Elementary and Middle School
  • \n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • \n

  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff.
  • \n

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to monitor student progress and guide intervention decisions.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • \n

  • Provide coaching, training, and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and classroom staff on behavior management strategies and data collection practices.
  • \n

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of evidence-based behavioral interventions.
  • \n

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal special education requirements.
  • \n

  • Support the implementation of positive behavior supports and data-driven decision-making practices throughout the school environment.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • \n

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • \n

  • Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) license, or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
  • \n

  • School-based BCBA experience preferred
  • \n

  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
  • \n

  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP implementation, special education compliance, and behavioral intervention strategies
  • \n

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and data analysis skills
  • \n
