Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MA RN license and 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Details\n
- \n
- Work in the Med/Surg unit of a 46-bed hospital environment (40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds)
- Telemetry patient population on a Med/Surg floor
- Day shift ratios of 5-6 patients and night shift ratios of 6-7 patients
- AM shift schedule of 3x12s (07:00-19:30) totaling 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirements based on unit needs, up to every other weekend
- Holiday coverage required based on unit needs
- No on-call responsibilities
- Float as needed to the Surge Unit or Emergency Department to manage Med/Surg patients unable to come to the Med/Surg floor
- Unit supported by an admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator
- Respiratory therapist and security available onsite 24/7
- No IV team or RRT team available

Requirements\n

- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1-2 years of relevant RN experience required

- Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg telemetry patients
- Collaborate with an admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator to support unit workflow
- Coordinate with onsite respiratory therapy and security staff as needed
