This part-time, contract role centers on supporting student growth and independence in educational settings, serving grades 1 through 5 between Keene and Surry, NH—just a short drive apart. Collaborate closely with a flexible and supportive director who is committed to working with your scheduling needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active New Hampshire OT certificate required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Strong ability to balance direct therapy services and consultative support
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Reliable transportation to work across both Keene and Surry locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in individual schedules, with a focus on both individual and group interventions
- Provide consultation with teachers and school teams throughout the academic year—across multiple campuses—helping to adapt strategies for classroom and student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services and progress, ensuring compliance with student service requirements (approximately 110 hours for the remainder of the academic year)
- Develop and implement creative treatment plans that foster students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills needed for daily participation in school activities
- Engage in meaningful collaboration to support inclusion and student-centered learning environments
