A warm and active family in Weston, MA is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny/family assistant to care for their two young boys, ages 3 and 5. They are looking for a dependable, energetic caregiver who genuinely enjoys engaging with children and will become a trusted, consistent part of their family’s lives. The family is looking for someone who is punctual, mature, organized, ethical, and enthusiastic about spending time with children. The family values a nanny who is proactive, communicative, and comfortable taking the lead in planning and managing the children’s day.
Requirements
- At least 23 years old
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant childcare experience preferred
- Current CPR / First Aid certification required
- Non-smoker
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Must have a safe and reliable vehicle for transporting the children
- Comfortable caring for a child with seasonal, cold-activated asthma and following the family’s emergency plan
- Flu & COVID vaccination required
- Must be comfortable around dogs
- Willingness to travel with the family as needed (Passport required)
Responsibilities
Childcare
- Provide loving, attentive, and age-appropriate care for two young children
- Safely transport the children to and from school, appointments, activities, playdates, and outings
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children
- Plan and engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities, both at home and in the community
- Support the children’s daily routines, including school preparation, packing lunches, and organizing belongings
- Prepare the children and their belongings for family travel as needed
- Stay up to date on the family calendar and the children’s schedules
- Communicate openly with parents about the children’s days, activities, and any changes to their routines
- Share occasional updates and photos with parents throughout the day when the children are not in school
- Keep the children’s rooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organized
- Clean and maintain children’s bottles, cups, and other daily-use items
Child-Related & Household Responsibilities
- Help maintain a clean, organized household by loading and unloading the dishwasher and tidying shared spaces used by the children
- Manage the children’s laundry and assist with the family’s laundry
- Prepare family meals on Mondays and Wednesdays
- Run occasional light errands, such as grocery or dry-cleaning pickups
- Provide occasional support with the family dogs, including walking one of the dogs approximately three times per week
About the Family
This family is looking for a nanny who will become a valued and trusted part of their household over the long term. Both parents work from home, with private offices located upstairs, allowing the nanny to have autonomy and independence with the children throughout the day.
The family has two Golden Retrievers. One is an older, laid-back dog who loves people but is kept separate from the children, while the younger dog is energetic, affectionate, and playful. The nanny should be comfortable around dogs and willing to help with occasional dog walking as part of the role.

Tuesday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Position Type: Full-time, long-term
Hourly Rate: $35–$37/hour; taxes withheld
Guaranteed hours
Vacation: 2 weeks paid
