HVAC Building Controls Technician
Location: Boston
We’re hiring HVAC Building Controls Technicians to support commercial and large‐scale facilities across Indiana. This is a hands‐on, field‐based role focused on testing, verifying, and commissioning HVAC building control systems in accordance with sequences of operation.
Must‐Haves
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including AHUs, VAVs, RTUs, chillers, and hot/chilled water systems
- Experience working with building automation systems (BAS) to review points and make adjustments as needed
- No programming required; engineering teams handle programming
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings and sequences of operation
- Experience running HVAC equipment through testing and point‐to‐point checks to verify hardware and software align with sequences
- Comfortable working hands‐on in the field and collaboratively with a team
Day‐to‐Day Responsibilities
- Review HVAC equipment performance against documented sequences of operation
- Verify BAS interaction with HVAC hardware and identify issues
- Communicate findings to engineering teams when changes are needed
- Perform testing, verification, and final commissioning of systems
- Support work at multiple Indiana locations, primarily at a large pharmaceutical‐type campus
