Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC certification required
  • Eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially when working with students and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Bilingualism in Spanish or Portuguese is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Document progress, maintain records, and comply with special education regulations
  • Contribute cultural competency to the learning environment, supporting multilingual families and students
