360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a premier HVAC, electrical and plumbing services provider in Massachusetts to hire an experienced residential HVAC Service Technician. This hands-on, field-based role is ideal for a service professional with strong technical skills, customer focus, and the ability to manage a wide variety of heating and cooling systems across residential settings.
The HVAC Service Technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of systems, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and high-efficiency equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a professional, customer-focused approach while representing one of Massachusetts’ leading mechanical service organizations. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve manufacturing defects on newly installed residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, boilers, steam boilers, and standard equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance visits and help develop a proactive maintenance program.
- Commission new installations to ensure optimal system performance and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Collaborate with partner company’s in-house technicians to service equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, clearly communicating findings and recommendations to clients and team.
- Travel statewide to residential clients, with the flexibility to start and end your day from home using a company-provided vehicle equipped with GPS.
- Maintain accurate service reports, documenting work completed, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
- Professionally engage with customers regarding projects, pricing, equipment, and optional upgrades.
- Adhere to safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, local codes, and company policies.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of HVAC service experience across multiple system types.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
- EPA certification required; additional state licensing a plus.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and travel statewide.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a variety of environments and weather conditions.
