Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $75.00 $80.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3x12 Hours), 7:00 PM start time, with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. *VERY RARELY FLEXED ONLY WHEN THERE IS AN URGENT STAFFING NEED*
- Hours Per Week: 36 HPW or 48 HPW (facility allows both)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This is a travel/contract Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty at a medical facility in Worcester, MA. The facility is open to 13 26 week contracts for this position.
Education Requirements
- Permanent MA RN license in hand required
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- PALS required
- EPIC preferred
Required Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
Required Skills
- Must be able to read telemetry
Preferred Skills
- EPIC charting system experience preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
- COVID-19 vaccination not required
- Night shift position; shift flexibility required on rare occasions based on urgent staffing needs
- Holiday coverage: 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year) may be included in RTO; priority given to candidates with minimal RTO and 26-week contracts
Important Notes
- Traveler must be aware of 2 pass/fail exams at orientation: a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Both exams allow 1 attempt only. Failure to pass either exam results in immediate contract cancellation.
- Study materials will be provided between the compliance process and FDIs.
