Three dynamic educators are needed for an engaging, contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year (August 19, 2026 – June 14, 2027), working 35 hours per week onsite.

You will play a crucial role in classrooms that foster growth, independence, and creativity—tailoring instruction to diverse student needs:

What You’ll Bring:

  • A valid Vermont Professional Teaching License with one of the following: Special Educator Endorsement, Special Education Consulting Teacher Endorsement, or Intensive Special Education Teacher Endorsement
  • Fingerprinting clearance (recent, approved fingerprints from another location will be accepted)
  • Adaptability, open-mindedness, and a passion for individualized learning

Opportunities Available:

  • High School (Caseloads A & B): Join a pioneering pilot program supporting students with executive function needs, Autism, and significant behavioral challenges. Collaborate with a team to shape new strategies—prepare students for both real-world employment and daily life, including those attending a tech center. Creativity and flexibility are highly valued!
  • Elementary (Caseload C): Work in a collaborative setting alongside three other teachers, delivering instruction to students with learning disabilities (reading, writing, math) and high-functioning Autism. Benefit from integrated PT/OT support, allowing for a holistic approach.
