Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab – Day Shift
Facility: Lahey Clinic Hospital – LHMC
Location: 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA 01805
Start Date: October 6, 2025
End Date: January 3, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts/week (Weekday & Weekend On-Call Required)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Type: Travel
On-Call: Yes – weekday and weekend
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be >50 miles away)
Position Overview:
Lahey Clinic Hospital – LHMC is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This high-acuity role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Nurses must be capable in all Cath Lab and/or EP roles, and comfortable with advanced cardiovascular procedures and device management.
Certifications & Requirements:
- Licensure: Active MA RN License – Required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS – Required
- Education: BSN – Required
- Preferred: RCIS, ECMO experience, EP Lab experience
Experience:
- Recent Cath Lab experience – Required (ideally 3–5 years)
- Must be proficient with:
- Diagnostic Caths
- Interventions
- Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Hemodynamics
- Device experience required:
- IABP
- Impella
- ECMO experience – Preferred
- EP Lab and Foundational ICU/ED experience – Preferred
- Must be able to fulfill all roles: Sedation, Monitor, Circulator, Scrub
Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced cardiac catheterization procedures
- Hemodynamic monitoring and waveform interpretation
- Emergency response during cath lab procedures
- Moderate sedation administration
- Vascular access and post-procedure care
- Team collaboration with interventional cardiologists and techs
- Use of advanced diagnostic tools (IVUS, FFR)
Facility & Compliance Notes:
- Flu Vaccine 2025–2026 Required at Submission (No declinations accepted)
- Must not have worked in any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility (perm, PRN, or travel) in the past 6 months
- BILH Cover Sheet Required at submission
