The Retail General Manager oversees all aspects of store operations in a single-store environment, managing a medium team of 11 to 30 employees. This role is critical in ensuring smooth day-to-day activities, efficient staff management, and delivering excellent customer service through both in-store and online sales channels. The manager will utilize payroll software and other tools to support operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Hire and train retail staff to maintain high performance standards
- Manage cash handling and ensure accuracy in transactions
- Order and receive inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Oversee product processing and merchandising to enhance store appeal
- Administer payroll and staff scheduling efficiently
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries
- Coordinate advertising efforts to drive store traffic and sales
- Manage all daily store operations ensuring smooth business flow
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail management experience
