A contract role is now available for the 2026-2027 school year, with full-time hours spanning Monday through Friday (32-37.5 hours per week). You'll have the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of 5th through 8th grade students, working closely with educators and school teams to foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in school settings is highly valued
- Ability to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support to students
- Comfortable working with 5th-8th grade populations
- Flexibility and strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers and staff
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
- Willingness to adapt and contribute to a classroom environment as needs arise
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and supporting instruction
- Deliver one-on-one or small group support to meet students’ individual needs
- Help manage classroom behavior and encourage student engagement
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support IEP or 504 plan implementation
- Supervise students during transitions, breaks, or activities throughout the day
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as assigned
