About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Brookline, NH. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children. You will play a vital role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive development while maintaining open communication with families. No experience necessary, we are willing to train the right individual.



What You'll Do

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Support children during transitions, meal times, outdoor play, and personal care routines.
  • Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
  • Engage with children individually and in groups to encourage curiosity and social skills.



Requirements

  • At least 15 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting.
  • Ability to pass a New Hampshire criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Available to work until 5:30pm
