Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in an elementary school setting in Cambridge, MA. This contract position is set for a full semester, offering 32.5 hours per week, with immediate start and ongoing placement until filled internally. The position requires onsite presence due to the caseload demands, specifically working with an ASD population.

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, writing reports, delivering direct services, providing consultations, and participating in IEP development with goal setting. Effective communication with parents and teachers is essential to support student progress. Experience working with AAC devices is a must for this role.

Preferred candidates hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, although Clinical Fellows (CFs) or strong Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will also be considered. Active SLP licensure in Massachusetts and prior school-based experience are mandatory. All candidates must complete a CORI background check and fingerprinting. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom.

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts SLP license required
  • CCC certification strongly preferred
  • Experience working in school settings with the ASD population
  • Proficiency with AAC device use
  • Strong skills in assessments, reports, IEP writing, and team collaboration
  • Ability to work onsite full-time (32.5 hours per week)
  • Completion of CORI and fingerprint clearance
