Experience the rewards of working with a dedicated group of elementary students in a supportive school setting just outside Woodstock, VT. This onsite, full-time contract runs from September 2026 through June 2027 and offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a small, manageable caseload of 40 students spanning Pre-K through 8th grade.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Holds or is eligible for current state licensure as an SLP or SLP-CFY; SLP-CCC preferred
  • Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or healthcare setting
  • Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and school support staff
  • Comfortable working with children in elementary grade levels, Pre-K through 8th
  • Ability to supervise and support an onsite SLPA
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to a small group of students
  • Conduct assessments, create and monitor IEPs, and maintain clear documentation
  • Develop engaging, evidence-based therapeutic activities tailored to students’ needs
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
  • Offer guidance and mentorship to the onsite SLPA
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and school community events
