Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY SERVICES, INC as a Speech Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our clients' communication needs. In this dynamic position, you'll work closely with experienced speech-language pathologists to provide high-quality therapy services in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized therapy plans.
• Conduct assessments and document client progress in therapy sessions.
• Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions and activities.
• Provide support to clients during therapy exercises and activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy space to enhance client experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to client care discussions.
• Stay updated on best practices and new techniques in speech therapy.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field.
• Experience working with children or adults with speech and language disorders preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques and tools.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
