Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students across K-12 grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school settings. This full-time contract role, based in Andover, MA, will run from ASAP through the end of the current school year and offers a caseload that spans all grade levels, from 1st through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and school policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working across a broad grade span, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) levels.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt instructional methods to various age groups and learning needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching practices.
