Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference by supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant, inclusive school community near Worcester, MA. This full-time, onsite contract role runs from 8:00AM-2:30PM and extends through June 25, 2026, offering the chance to positively impact students in grades 2 and 3 with developmental delays or intellectual impairments.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team, utilizing your expertise to deliver specialized instruction and collaborate with educators and families. A supportive environment, with resources tailored for onsite professionals, ensures you can focus on fostering growth and development for every student.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Current, active MA license/certification for Moderate or Severe disabilities
  • School-based experience working with elementary-aged students
  • Experience with students who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments
  • Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to inclusive education
  • Comfort with onsite work and navigating school procedures
  • Ability to clear a CORI search and provide fingerprints (previous letter of suitability may be considered)

In this role, you’ll:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction based on IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, specialists, and families
  • Track progress, adjust interventions, and document results
  • Contribute actively to team meetings and parent conferences
  • Foster an environment that encourages learning and independence
