Upper Valley Services (UVS) is one of Vermonts designated non-profit agencies serving people with developmental disabilities and adults who are eligible for Adult Family Care.

We are seeking a Direct Support staff who is considerate, patient, open-minded, creative, able to provide positive encouragement and be a cooperative member of a team.

The perfect candidate will have a willingness to introduce new interests, and support individuals with current interests and goals. It will be important to offer gentle guidance around good self-hygiene and emotional regulation in times of stress.

This Individual is striving to have a focus on healthy choices and would like to successfully manage weight and find fun ways to move his body to achieve that. The Individual likes to swim, we are seeking a candidate that will enjoy participating in all of the activities to achieve goals.

This individual is looking for competitive employment and in search of the right person to help him succeed.

Full-time 30 hours per week.

Candidates will undergo a background check, must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance.

A $1000 hiring bonus will be offered to the selected candidate. $500.00 sign on bonus at 6 months of hire and an additional $500.00 upon completion of one year of employment with Upper Valley Services.
