Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position is based onsite, working with 2nd and 3rd grade students who have developmental delays or intellectual impairments. You’ll play a vital role in shaping these students’ growth and academic success, all within a supportive and structured school environment.
This assignment begins ASAP and runs through June 25, 2026, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The position calls for candidates who are dedicated, compassionate, and equipped with both the expertise and certifications needed to provide exceptional education and care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate or Severe Disabilities
- Previous experience in a school-based special education setting
- Thorough understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and effective instructional strategies
- Ability to obtain CORI clearance and fingerprinting (a letter of suitability from a previous employer may be utilized for fingerprints)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Comfortable completing a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual learning needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Monitor student progress, update IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation
