Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time paraprofessional position is available in a K-12 school setting, specifically supporting preschool students in both intensive needs and general education classrooms. This role requires assisting students with special education needs, utilizing ABA training or relevant experience to support their development effectively.
Location: Hollis, NH (Hollis Primary School)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (23 hours per week)
Duration: Contract through June 17, 2026
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to preschool students with special education needs in classroom settings
- Assist with implementing ABA techniques and strategies for student growth
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments when necessary
- Support the learning and development of students in both intensive and general education preschool settings
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment that promotes student engagement
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in a professional setting
- ABA training or demonstrated experience working with special education students
- Comfortable and flexible working with the SPED population
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to the school
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting and onboarding processes
- One professional reference must be completed prior to placement
- Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview
