This full-time contract opportunity runs from September 2026 through June 2027 and supports an elementary caseload near Plaistow, NH. Step into a supportive school environment and deliver specialized instruction to help each student thrive.
You’ll engage with students primarily in small group settings or as a co-teacher within classroom environments at the elementary level. School hours are 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a consistent 35-hour work week.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience within school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to deliver tailored small group instruction and collaborate effectively as a co-teacher
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with general education staff, specialists, and families
- Commitment to providing an inclusive educational experience for elementary students
Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide targeted small group or co-taught instruction in core academic subjects
- Collect data and track student progress towards goals
- Adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, service providers, and families to support student growth
