Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available within a K-12 public school setting in Adams, MA. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population across the full range of grades, addressing psychological needs and promoting student well-being. The position is contract-based for the current school year and requires onsite work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student mental health and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide intervention planning and implementation.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare formal reports on student progress and assessments.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively onsite throughout the school year.
