📍 St. Johnsbury, VT | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week – Day Shift (7a–7p)
Seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of recent acute care experience for a critical access hospital in scenic Northeast Vermont. This unit primarily treats adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric patients, so candidates must be comfortable caring for both populations.
The RN will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, and occasional pediatric care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment. Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and adaptability are essential.
Schedule includes three 12-hour day shifts per week with every other weekend and holiday coverage required. Travelers begin assignments on Wednesdays. Meditech experience preferred.
Requirements:
Active Vermont RN License or Multi-State Compact License
Current AHA BLS & ACLS
Minimum 3 years acute care RN experience
Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
