Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contracted position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a K-12 school setting in Boston, MA. This opportunity is ideal for candidates holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology with experience or specialization in school-based services.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapy that supports student success across various learning environments.
Key qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience providing services in school settings preferred
- Ability to assess and treat a wide range of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
