Make a meaningful impact as a part-time Occupational Therapist delivering critical support to K-5 students across two welcoming charter school campuses. These schools are situated just 15 minutes apart, making it convenient to provide services in both Keene and Surry, NH. This contract opportunity offers flexibility: the director is open to collaborating with you on a schedule that suits your needs.
Your skills in school-based OT will help foster student success across a range of direct and consultative services, including individual therapy and collaborative consultations with staff. This position supports students at Gathering Waters (Keene) and Surry Village campuses—addressing IEP goals for elementary and upper elementary learners.
Requirements:
- Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapist certificate (required)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to organize and document service minutes efficiently
- Strong communication skills for consulting with teachers, staff, and families
- Comfortable traveling between two sites within a short distance
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy in accordance with student IEPs (~110 hours remaining for the school year)
- Conducting scheduled consults with staff/parents and participating in IEP meetings as necessary
- Collaborating with educational teams to create supportive learning environments
- Documenting and reporting on student progress as needed
