This full-time role consists of 35 hours per week, where you’ll make a direct impact on student success by providing expert services to learners across two different school sites within the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
- Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt assessments and interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
- Reliable organizational skills to manage caseload across multiple locations
Daily Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine needs for occupational therapy interventions
- Develop and implement individualized goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and monitor progress for assigned caseload
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Consult with staff and families regarding strategies to promote student success
- Support student participation and independence within classroom and school routines
