Role Overview
- Solutions Engineer supporting multiple sales reps across the Northeast region
- Functions as a shared regional technical resource
Territory / Travel
- Coverage includes NH, ME, MA
- Role requires regular travel across the region
Primary Objective
- Provide additional technical support to account teams
- Reduce bandwidth constraints on current engineering resources
- Support existing customer base and improve coverage across the region
Experience / Background
- Experience with enterprise/open architecture security platforms (Genetec, Avigilon, Milestone, or similar)
- Ability to conduct site walks, system design, bill of materials, and scope development
- Able to operate independently in the field
- Comfortable supporting multiple reps across different accounts
Work Environment
- No formalized handoff process between sales and engineering today
- Engineers operate with flexibility in tools and workflows
- Preference for candidates who can function effectively in this environment
Compensation
- Base salary: $80,000
- Commission: participation based on level of involvement in deals (minimum 10% of commission with additional upside potential)
