We’re Hiring: Surgical Technologist – CVOR
Location: Nantucket, MA
Shift: Days, 5x8
Contract: 13 weeks (possible extension/conversion)
Weekly Gross: $2,200
Job Summary:
Pride Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist – CVOR to support cardiovascular surgeries. You’ll assist surgeons and nurses by preparing sterile instruments, maintaining the OR environment, and providing critical intraoperative support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and cardiac surgical instruments
- Assist in CABG, valve replacements, aortic repairs, and pediatric cardiac surgeries
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and handle specialized cardiac equipment
- Ensure infection control and accurate surgical documentation
- Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize workflow and patient safety
Requirements:
- High School Diploma + accredited Surgical Technology program
- CST required; BLS required; ACLS preferred
- 2–3 years CVOR experience, including cardiac surgical procedures
- Proficient in endoscopic vein harvesting and CVOR equipment
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and communication skills
