Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role offers an engaging opportunity to support elementary students with diverse behavioral needs in North Adams, MA. Working as a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide tailored interventions and therapeutic services to students in grades K-3, focusing on moderate to severe behavioral challenges. Supervision for RBTs is flexible, with options for in-person or virtual support to ensure compliance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based behavioral therapies and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote positive student outcomes.
  • Document sessions and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing communication and training to school personnel regarding behavior management strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experience as a Behavior Specialist.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-3) with moderate to severe behavioral needs.
  • Ability to provide or accept supervision to maintain certification standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
