Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist is needed for a part-time contract position supporting students with emotional and behavioral disorders. This role is based in Kingston, NH within a high school setting and offers approximately 20 hours per week across three days. This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in managing caseloads of students with special emotional and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and support services to approximately 12 students in the emotional behavioral disorder (EBD) program.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to student cases.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist in NH.
- Experience working with high school-aged students, particularly within EBD populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff.
- Statements of Eligibility will NOT be accepted; full licensure required.
