What You Will Do: The Heart of the Store
As a Retail Associate & Community Ambassador, you are the face of our historic brand, delivering exceptional service and preserving the unique character of our store. Your day will be a dynamic blend of customer engagement and essential store operations.

Historical Customer Engagement: Act as a knowledgeable resource for customers, sharing the Gillingham story while helping them find the perfect item, ranging from classic staples to modern goods.

Retail Operations Leadership: Execute sales transactions accurately using the cash register and assist in maintaining the the stores historic Charm.

Visual Storytelling: Create captivating merchandise displays that respect our store’s history while showcasing our diverse product lines.

Inventory & Presentation: Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and accurately priced, reflecting the high standards of our legacy.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Gillingham family and fellow team members to foster a supportive, thriving work environment.

Prior Experience: Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a field where client/community interaction was central.

Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills—you are a natural storyteller and a friendly face. (We've removed "written" as the primary focus is customer interaction).
