Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• 48 hours guaranteed per week
\n• Patient ratios: 1:6-7 nights, 1:5 days and weekends
\n• Every other weekend required
\n• Float requirement to like units including ICU, ED, and other Med/Surg units
\n• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• No first-time travelers accepted
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
\n• Required certifications: BCLS, NH state license, stroke education (1 hour onsite first day)
\n• Epic charting experience required
\n• Skills required: Med/Surg, peripheral line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, surgical drains
\n• Charge nurse experience preferred
\n• 24-hour orientation program
\n• Any scrubs acceptable
\n• Care for adolescent and adult patients with medical and surgical diagnoses
\n• Focus on orthopedic and neuro-spine post-operative care
\n• Patient diagnoses include GI bleed, cellulitis, detox, GI/respiratory issues, orthopedic injuries, post-op THR/TKR, neurosurgical procedures
\n• 34-bed unit with daily census of 28 patients
\n• Team nursing approach with helping hands model
\n• Drug screen required within 14 days of start date
