Job DescriptionOur client, a Medical Center company, is looking for a CT Tech - Imaging for their Boston, MA location.
Responsibilities:
- Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
- Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
- Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
- Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
- Examining images to ensure they’re usable
- Updating patient medical information
- Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
- Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required
Requirements:
- 5+ years in Cat Scan, angiograms, CT procedures (ie: biopsies) in a hospital setting.
- High skill level preferred with knowledge of 64 slice GE scanners, trauma experience, EPIC.
- ARRT, ARRT CT Certification, BLS, MA Radiation License.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CT Certification from ARRT
- List of Inactive License Verifications
