Registered Nurse – EP Lab (Cardiac Device) needed for an outpatient cardiac device clinic in Burlington, Vermont. Start date 9/21/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $3,063–$3,181. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift is 5x8 days (Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.). This is a hospital-based travel role with no on-call and no weekend requirements. The role focuses on managing implanted cardiac rhythm management devices in adult patients (18+), with EPIC EMR experience preferred. Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage technical aspects of implanted CRM devices (pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, implanted loop recorders) in an outpatient clinic setting
- Perform device interrogations, programming, troubleshooting, and routine surveillance per protocol
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and device data, alert the care team to significant findings, and document outcomes in EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians and device team to optimize patient care and cardiovascular physiology understanding
- Educate patients on device function, follow-up plans, and activity restrictions; reinforce infection control and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of device data, appointments, and clinical notes; address scheduling and coordination needs
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Vermont (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent job experience
- EPIC EMR experience within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology
- Ability to work in an outpatient clinic environment with adult patients (18+)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently; reliable transportation required
Certifications
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: CCDS, CDRMS
Education
- Current RN licensure; completion of an accredited nursing program
