Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for PRN coverage at Blackstone Valley in Whitinsville, MA. Bring your skills to a skilled nursing rehab team helping residents regain everyday abilities following illness, injury, or hospitalization.
What You'll Do

Deliver treatment under the supervising Occupational Therapist's plan of care, focusing on residents' functional goals.

Guide residents through self-care activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting.

Incorporate therapeutic activities to improve coordination, upper-body function, and participation in daily routines.

Teach residents how to use adaptive equipment and follow safety techniques established by the OT.

Record treatment provided, resident responses, and progress; communicate changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.

Coordinate with nursing and fellow therapy staff to reinforce care recommendations throughout the resident's day.

Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.

Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Clear communication, sound judgment, and a resident-focused approach.

Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
