Position Summary:
We're hiring dependable and capable mechanics to keep our drilling rigs, trucks, and support equipment running strong. Flexibility is essential — this job requires someone who can adapt to changing priorities and occasional on-site repairs. If you're reliable, orderly, hands-on, and ready to work, we won’t limit your hours, and your pay will reflect your capability and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, trailers, pumps, and electrical components
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond to urgent field calls and equipment breakdowns as needed
- Maintain service records and manage parts sourcing
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment is field-ready
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Ordering and maintaining an inventory of parts for all company vehicles
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic preferred
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical diagnostics
- Welding/fabrication skills are a plus
- CDL preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable with varying day-to-day tasks
- Able to work independently and within a small, hardworking team
