Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a combined Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU unit requiring cardiac monitoring experience and comfort across all three specialties.

- Work on a combined Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a small, rural facility
- Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
- RN/patient ratio is 5:1 depending on acuity, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1 for both day and night shifts
- Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required, plus holidays as needed
- No on-call requirements

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active NH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry experience required
- Must be comfortable working across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU specialties
- Basic dysrhythmia test required in profile
- Previous travel experience highly preferred
- Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
- Skills checklists required for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit, current within 1 year
- One supervisory signed reference required from within the past two years of employment
- Must be able to work independently and adapt quickly to the unit

- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered
- Personal scrubs of any color are permitted
- Candidates must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile submission; requests made after upload will not be approved
- Up to 5 days of RTO will be approved for the 13-week assignment
- First-time travelers are not specified as accepted, but previous travel experience is highly preferred
- Traveler must be prepared to work independently in a small, rural care setting
