Role Description The Interior Design Professional is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyannis, MA. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand project goals, developing design concepts, and preparing space plans and detailed drawings. The role involves selecting finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment (FF&E), coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and overseeing project execution to ensure design intent is maintained. Day-to-day tasks also include creating presentations and mood boards, maintaining project documentation, and supporting procurement activities. The Interior Design Professional will contribute to a collaborative studio environment and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.\n
Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and materials.

Strong Space Planning skills with the ability to optimize layouts for function, flow, and building code considerations.

Experience with Architecture concepts and Construction Drawings, including reading, coordinating, and producing design documentation.

Proficiency with industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.

Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to create presentations, mood boards, and clear design narratives.

Excellent interpersonal, client communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on professional, inclusive service.

Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant professional experience on residential or commercial projects is highly valued.
