Job Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time, school-based positions in Bethel, VT for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity offers a small, manageable caseload of approximately 40 students and the chance to support learners from Pre-K through 8th grade.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and achieve academic success in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in Pre-K through 8th grade
- Conduct speech-language evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Address communication challenges including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and support educational planning
Qualifications
- Active or eligible Vermont Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
