Who are we? NILP is a rapidly growing, human service agency who assists persons with all types of disabilities who wish to live independently in their community throughout Northeast Massachusetts. NILP provides five core services of Advocacy, Peer Counseling, Information and Referral, Independent Living Skills Training, and Transition. NILP believes in consumer control and self-direction and provides these services with the knowledge that persons with disabilities are the best determinants of their needs and goals.
Position Overview: Under the supervision of the PCA Director, the PCA Clinical Admin is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to assist the day-to-day clinical team activities. We are seeking applicants who are passionate about helping others and willingness to show a commitment to Independent Living philosophy.

What you will be doing:
- Data entry into data management programs and Excel
- Work with PCA and Clinical staff to help process consumer’s paperwork
- Track the status of evaluations
- Print out consumer profiles, re-evaluations, and prior authorizations for nurses to use during yearly re-evaluation
- Fax releases to HHA’s when a plan of care is needed and call and follow-up with HHA agencies
- Fax essential paperwork to doctor offices for doctor’s authorization of PCA services
- Make follow-up calls to doctor’s offices if authorization has not been received
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Job Specifications:
Who we are looking for?
- High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years administrative experience
- Knowledge of IL philosophy and previous experience working with people with disabilities preferred
- Must have access to reliable and independent transportation
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and comfort working with database management programs
- Ability to plan and organize work effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing
- Preference given to qualified candidates who self-identify as an individual with a disability, in accordance with our mission and federal CIL requirements
