Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Project Independence Services Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in New Bedford, MA. Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor and document patient health status, progress, and changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies with professionalism and clinical expertise
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited program
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Prior clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to quality care
