Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for reciprocal licensing)
- Experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong assessment, triage, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Compassion, adaptability, and organizational skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (current)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide daily health care and assessment for students, including administering medications and first aid
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and asthma in coordination with families and care teams
- Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Act as a resource and advocate for student health and wellness within the school community
- Support public health initiatives and assist in the development of individual healthcare plans
- Respond promptly to emergencies or illness outbreaks as needed
