In this role the Behavioral Specialist will provide services in a variety of settings that supports positive behavioral support to individuals that need guidance in safety, health, and/or quality of life supports. Full training provided. Part time or Full time opportunity including flexible hours for personal/family needs and flexibility.
Qualifications:
- Ideally we are looking for someone with a Masters Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social work, Human Services, or Mental Health. You would also qualify if you have a degree in a related field or will be completing your degree within 6 months of hire.
- Looking for two years of experience working with people who have an intellectual disability that engage in challenging behaviors preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Produce notes in case management software system
- Strong writing skills with attention to the details needed in assessments and other documents
- Effective communicator in communicating with various teams and groups in a thoughtful and clear manner
- Ability to collaborate with individual families, team members, and community citizens on behalf of individuals
- Detail oriented with ability to maintain documentation in a systematic method for required paperwork to be kept up to date and recorded in a timely fashion
- Perform thorough functional behavioral assessments to develop behavior plans

Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000
