Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Cambridge, MA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. This contract position involves providing evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech and language disorders to support their academic and communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of services provided
- Participate in meetings and professional development as required
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adjust techniques based on student progress
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
