Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This onsite position allows you to make a positive daily impact on learners across a range of ages and abilities. You’ll work within a dedicated educational team, assessing needs and providing thoughtful interventions that foster student participation and success throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12)
- Ability to adapt interventions to varying ages and needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students onsite
- Assess and document student needs; develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers and educational staff to integrate OT goals into classroom routines
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with families regarding intervention strategies and student progress
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and ongoing student support processes
